plugged in through USB 2.0 (A PCI card) and normally, whenever I transfer
things between the Main system HDD and the external 320GB HDD, the transfer
speed is literally 500Kb/s. For some reason, yesterday, when I restarted,

on a G5. Even if you install on a G4 or a G3 and transplant the HDD to a G5,
it still won't boor because a G5 is 64-bit, and OS 9 only has 32 bit code in

I have the same problem on my PM g4 sawtooth. Either get an update to the
program, delete it an replace it with another copy, or just use time machine
to "Go back in time" using the Leopard copy and everything should work. If
all fails like what i said here, i will do some extensive research to hel

I have had the same problem whenever I burn dvds, even at lower speeds, it
still has trouble. I was wondering if it was some kind of format error, but
I checked through disk utility on my beige G3 and i knew you were right. I
did burn at a lower speed and it worked, but still sometimes the DVD driv
CCC has served me pretty well since whenever i use time machine my video
card draws lines all over the screen and freezes until I exit out of time
machine.
My suggestions are:

I don't use AppleTalk. I already used XpostFacto to install Jaguar on my Pm
9600, and I hooked it up through ethernet. I went to system preferences,
turned on file sharing and boom! I was able to see my 320GB network HDD on

The reason why a PPC and an intel can both boot from 10.4 and 10.5 is
because they have both the intel and the PPC code. Since they have both
processor architecture codes, it won't care if it's a PPC or intel. It will

My PM G4 Sawtooth did recognize 4GB. It's just that Leopard and the OF
weren't too happy with it for a while. Kps were a bit more common than I
thought they would be.

Try looking on google. You most likely will find how to type in the command
on open firmware, but BEWARE. I had to re-install Leopard 4 times before my
system could settle with this 4GB setting.

This was also done because I hacked the open firmware. I am sorry, but I
don't remember how the trick went. I first reset the open firmware by
starting up and pressing and holding Command+Option+P+R. Then, I restarted
into open firmware, and I typed in some kind of command to remove the limit
for R
