To fix the bug, validate the translated string and use the English one if
necessary.
I think this should always be done when translations have the potential to

Hi
Could someone specify how these files *should* be translated? Must
there be the same number of elements in the list?
I suppose the most obvious thing is that it should end with ;.
I'll write a script and check it on all the files, then send a complete list.

Dear i18n people
Would you mind committing the Danish translation of
gnome-online-accounts? Deadline is today, I hope there's time left.

Hi internationalizers
A troubling technical question follows. In Danish we usually use "
rather than ' as quotation marks. As an example, we would make the
following translation:
#: ../calendar/calendar.error.xml.h:64
msgid "Delete memo list '{0}'?"
msgstr "Slet memolisten \"{0}\"?"

Hi translators and i18n people
I notice that the string "Quit" seems to have appeared in quite a few
modules. In total, the msgids "Quit" or "_Quit" (i.e. matching
"^(_?)Quit$") are found 31 times, in these modules:
anjuta.master.da.po: 1
baobab.master.da.

The answer is plainly yes, if you use version control correctly. PO files
might have some characteristics that make some things harder, but they're

Hi all,
As Chusslove says, version control of PO is more difficult than that
of normal source files.
But there are tips on how to manage PO on VCS.
1. --no-wrap
2. --no-location
The above points are msgmerge's options. Msgmerge with --no-wrap does
