However that is only one-way communication; I didn't manage to ACK any other

I have two linux questions. I guess I am still a linux newbie by

1. Executing a binary file that has execute permissions: why can't I
just type the name of the file? For example:

bash: mumps: command not found

In the older Worldvista versions of VistA, PTF files were
automatically generated. It even allowed PTF creation from past
admissions.
With HUI VistA 4 we are unable to do that. Is there a specific
configuration parameter that we need to configure for PTF generation.

Wasif.

Kevin,
1. It's like a DOS command line, but the ./ tells linux to look in the
current directory.
2. Some installers/upgrade tools require to specify a source, like
sourceforge, freshrpms etc., and if you don't provide one they look in
your 'installation source', i.e. the cd you installed

Bhaskar,
I have downloaded the .tar file and expanded it into

I am now trying to follow the instructions in the database migration

Yep, I agree that the package management under Linux (in particular with Debian

When you pasted the routine into Studio and saved it, did you save it into the
correct namespace. It is not finding the routine. Also, you did drop off
the extension and saved it just as ZWR. Look in Explorer for ZWR* and see
what is there.

Actually, the parts of VOE that impact Class I VistA packages are being
prepared as Class I patches and are being formally released as part of VistA

dozen patches in the pipeline.
