I think you can change the ownership to yourself, even if you are not
the owner, through the document titles edit options. You shouldn't
try to edit them with Fileman, they have all kinds of tricks built
into the database to prevent that.

Did you manually enter the note title? It sounds like the server returns
more information than the client expects to see and it closes the socket. It
sounds like either the server and client have a separate count or the server
sends the wrong count to the client. This causes a read error on the soc

It sounds to me like CPRS is asking for a list of available list
titles, and then something goes wrong with this, and an a list is
returned in a format not expected by CPRS. This leads to a crash.
To debug this, I would first make sure that it is not a server side

Hi Meyer,
I had a similar experience when I first tried the Aug2005 download.
The rpctest program ran fine, but I got a node type problem on
the CPRSChart.exe. Simple reason like lower/upper case conflict
on node name can caused problems I believe.

When you run CPRS, what comman-line parameters are you giving, i.e. in
the properties. Should be something line s=192.168.3.1 p=9210?
