In my experience, moving to cable from ATT DSL is probably worse
as far as tech support.
Mail clients often have very helpful user groups. I can't speak for
Thunderbird or Eudora, but peer support for Outlook Express, Windows
Mail and Windows Live Mail is especially strong.

Just because it was easier, I pulled the HD (btw everything was brand new)
and replaced it with one from one of my other computers that just had
storage files on it and installed XP and booted it up and it has not BSOD
for 17 hours. The only upgrade I did on it was the video drivers and the
. The 120mm exhaust fan above the CPU seems to be doing the job for
the bottom of the case now that I have proper air flow.
No crashes so far, but I still may look at getting a different case
eventually to allow for full case airflow.
