I personally waited to get windows 10 until I bought a new laptop and didn't
have a choice if I wanted an inexpensive laptop. I have windows 10 on my
personal laptop and windows 7 on my work laptop. I would stick with windows 7

If you are using W10 the only time my pc makes the windows sound is on restart.
ab to enable quick start
this is a check box and it is checked by default
press spacebar to uncheck
tab to ok
tab to save changes

sighted unless in windows 10 microsoft made it possible to use narrator,
which is not likely because safe mode doesn't load the sound drivers.

computer is in hibernation mode which enables the quick start. when quick

boot into safe mode.
I just from the desktop pressed win key+I for settings arrow to update and
security enter
