As another datapoint I get 400KB/sec download speeds with Shawcable here in Calgary. That translates to 400 x 1000 x 8 = 3.2 Mb/s (1000 could be 1024, not sure, so I'll pick smaller). That is with DCD v1.01 running on a P133 with 64MB of RAM. Until a month ago I was using a 486 DX2/66 with 16MB
