I really do not understand what you mean. There are Given name, Surname,
Dates-Birth, Dates-Baptism, Location fields for each and notes, for all of
which one can use Search and Replace, so exactly where are you putting this
word
When I was entering census records... for those times when the census taker
did not record the dwelling number or the family number I had been putting
the words not given in the blank. I just read in Evidence
Explained that the proper way is to put [blank] in that spot.

you'd lose the parts of the Master Sources that you want added to Source
Detail.

Find what: County Dorset (or whatever you put)
Replacement text: Dorset
Replace only found text.
