Director and Opcode Max, didn't get too far but definitely managed to open
up a communication channel. What do you need to know? I have the files

Hmm. Flash doesn't import QT, but you can integrate Flash
IN a Quicktime movie file, not an mov in an swf.
You did export all the images as a jpeg sequence and
imported that into flash. That's an ok workaround.

It's not the end of the world, I was just hoping there's some sort of
Cross-Platform doctoring application out there that can keep the
associations intact, since neither "Here and Now" (for reading mac
volumes)
nor "Pc MacLan" (for cross platform networking) seem to do the trick

Since the platform is win, I'm just dealing with avi files (since the
client didn't want to use quicktime)
I've got an intro flash movie with audio...when that ends, or clicking
the old 'skip' button
but then it won't give up the audio for the avi...
any suggestions?

Sounds like you may have lost the resource fork on these mac files.
Cross platform files like director casts and movies can be
reassociated. But mac applications and xtras have executable code in
their resource forks. What typically happens when you move a mac app
to a pc and back
