I have a problem where sometimes I'll try to open a web page and it just
sticks trying to load the page. I can wait for ages and nothing will
happen. But if I re-load the page it might come up instantly (except
for sometimes when I get caught in a 'gap' of not being able to get

I am experiencing that exact problem lately, and I am a bezeqint user
too.
My explanation: bezeqint's darn transparent proxies suck. I think
there's a load balancing between them, and one of the proxies is just

You have a default route that points to the internal network. Remove
that route (configure eth0 to not include a default route), and let the
default route come from ppp (i.e. - there will be no default route
