I have a Techsolo TG-40 Gamepad, under Windows it works without
installing a driver with the standart hid driver.
Under Linux it is recognised as a Arcurx RF USB Gamepad 8206, but it
does not work. And also the gamepad does not connect to its usb stick.
Any ideas what i can do?

That page seems to assue CE is on the handheld. You cannot have two USB
_host_ cotrollers talking to each other, one must be a device. This is
why you need to look at the gadget stuff, tgat is for driving devices.

2.6.5-1.358smp kernel
with a USB printer (HP LJ 1500). This worked well until I switched to

the devfs, which you shouldn't if you're new). If your distribution hasn't
there should as least be a MAKEDEV command in /dev/ which you can do;
cd /dev
./MAKEDEV sda # or perhaps jsut sd
