rdesktop has options that allow a user to automatically logon (rdesktop
-u username -p password ipaddress_or_hostname)

When I configured RedHat 8.0, though I specified I wanted dhcpd loaded, it
did not load the software. I needed to mount the installation CD, copy
the dhcpd*.rpm to a temporary directory and install. Once installed,
dhcpd was then a recognized command.

I did not have this problem with RedHat 7.1 and LTSP 2.x.
