I've just bought Gordon and I an airplay-enabled Panasonic desktop audio system
which I'm hoping we can use to play audio on our iPhone and third generation
iPod Touch. Just to confirm, what steps are necessary to set up an airplay
device on the iOS end?

virtual machine for you, then there's a way to use it with Parallels. But the
Parallels Desktop interface is totally inaccessible. This has been discussed

be accessible unless they do a total rewrite. The user interface relies on

If a low beep is heard, this is when voice activation has become deactivated
for some reason, usually when the user holds then lets go of the button without
talking.

OK, now you see what I meant when I mentioned working from the visual aspect.
It just doesn't seem to be possible and actually, even without VoiceOver now
that I come to try it it would appear that this is problematic. So yes, it
looks like the pen drive option is out, for now.
deleted mail is deleted from the server. By default the
Trash folder you see is a local one, I believe, not stored on the server at
all. I'd look into the Account settings in Mail preferences.

OK, it seems that Apple has indeed fixed this problem. I made sure that the
Store trash messages on server check box is checked. Then I deleted the
contents of my trash box.
Then I quit mail. Then I logged into the mailbox on my server in the Terminal
