stroke doesn’t exist, same for VO shift down arrow, that’s why I asked on list.

I usually do this by selecting an entire column that is going to be used to
hold numeric data, and then format the entire column at once in the formatter.

iPad Mini running the latest IOS and, unfortunately, both apps are still
plagued by an issue where the copy / paste popup menu is constantly active
while I am trying to work in a Numbers spreadsheet
What an absolute nusance that is.
I already own Pages and just bought numbers, the Apps are cheap enough so
perhaps the issue you described will be resolved in the future.
At least I can do copying and pasting with Notesy so its not as though I don't
have text editing options at my disposal

logs every month. Works very very well. You can even export to excel as well.

I don't use that function, but is there an insert menu and a formulas menu?
maybe the formulas in pages are different then

There is an insert menu, and there is a function submenu. Believe that is
where the formulas are.

That's how it would be done in that other spreadsheet application. It
might be that formulas in Numbers aren't started with an equal sign as they
are in, well, you know...
The help system for numbers probably has something to say about formulas.

Yeah so maybe look for that formula. I never ever typed those in on any spread
sheet program. lol! so navigate tot he cell you want then go to the incert and
then the functions menu and see if that's what you want. good luck.
