Hi Dave. The command to record is control+R. To answer your second question,
no, there isn't a way to silence the speech quickly. I think they broke that
command for mac. I know, it's annoying, especially when I turn off Voiceover.

Or, simply go under the Go menu, then navigate down while holding down the VO
keys and the Library folder will be an option. The special key in this case
and many others is the Option key, there are often choices within menus that
are not visible unless the Option key is down.

What Danny means is that the Control+F5 command sequence moves you between the
title bar and the pane, depending on where your current focus is. Just as an

Actually, vlc does some converting but I've never completely figured it out.
I've used switch to do some converting and it can convert whole directories,
etc. I think I got it online rather than on the mac store but not sure. If I

I think instead of forgetting about windows, its more like forgetting about

Yep, WMA, AAC, Flac, ogg and a bunch more. It isn't as cheep as I thought
though. In the Australian store, it's $6.50 or so so I would guess, $5.99 in

most media formats so I can keep my iTunes library clean as theirs now no way
to play items in iTunes and not add them to your library. Also, you can easily
set output device and it works with the apple remote.

with the exception of a few mixing plugins. This was primarily PT 10, PT 7-9
seemed to work very well with voiceover.
