True, but I'd like to ffer a small correction, or rather an expantion. Pressing enter in a dialog will always activate the "default" button, it is more a matter of convention that this is usually the button to submit or say yes. As you move through the buttons, you may find that vo will say "def

You can use pretty much anything if you can get an adapter. For built-in options, modern macs (not macbooks though) generally have HDMI and Thunderbolt as monitor connection options. Confusingly, Thunderbolt can also be called Mini Display Port, so if you need VGA you can do what I did and get a
