Just to add, one can toggle the keyboard commander on/off with VO shift K. And
to answer the question about reading the title of the window in which voiceover
is currently focused, its VO F2.

I knew about option+t for time, option+m for mail, option+s for Safari,
etc, but I didn't think to check in commanders in VoiceOver utility if I
missed something. So, now I have that working as well.

Open up Voiceover utility with VO F8.
Interact, arrow down to commanders, then stop interacting.
VO right arrow to the keyboard tab, select it with VO spacebar.

Time and Date. Part of the disadvantage to using the Keyboard COmmander with
scripts is that it takes them a while to load, as they apparently are not kept
in memory, which you will notice if you try doing it twice rapidly as opposed
to doing
future reference.

thought that there was another setting that needed to be changed, however I
cannot find it. Now when you do right option t you will get the time and date.

keyboard commander, select the right option key as your keyboard commander and
then you can just hit the right option key and the letter 't' and you'll get

If you are referring to the time and date that is displayed on the status menu,
you have a couple of options. First control-f8 will take you to the status menu
where the info is located. You also can enable keypad or keyboard commander in
the VOiceOver Utility,, enable VOiceOver
