** Sorry, Outhouse Distress didn't like me changing it into plain text the
first time around.. **
Hi
Does anyone know where I can find the EEPROM settings for a Sharp 722, or
could anyone tell me if they are the same as the Sharp 701/702? Failing
that, does anyone know where I can find
adjustments.
The LEDs tell you what the frequency of the input signal is. The first LED
that lights tells you there is no signal, and then it goes up 32kHz,
44.1kHz, and 48kHz.
Hope this helps

Hello
Does anyone know where I could get hold of a remote for a Sony MZR portable
in the UK? I think its an MZR90 or MZR91. My brother recently destroyed
his, and is eager to get a replacement.
Thanks in advance

When did this happen? Everytime I try to access MiniDisc.org, I get

Did I miss some announcement, or is this a temporary thing?
There hasn't been an anouncement, but it is defintiely broke. If you
are looking for some info and need to access it, you can get in

Thats what I thought, but I can charge mine off the same 4.5VDC
Providing the power pack can supply the current, then it should power
the 722 just fine. I power my 702 off a Sony 4.5VDC mains adaptor
and I have never had any problems with it.

I have heard of several people with similar problems to yours, and
the solution which seems to have worked for most people is to take
the unit apart and make sure that the ribbon cables inside the unit

Hi Ian
I have a Sony JE520, and I use it in the way you describe. I have an
industrial digital controller / timer, and I can use this to set loads of
on/off timings. When the 520 is switched to Record Timer mode, it will

Hi Tugrul
The adaptor you have won't harm the unit in anyway, but it just means that
it will take longer to charge. You might find that your adaptor will get
quite warm as it is going to be supplying the maximum current while
charging.

Now my question. I know that the unit requires 5V

Will anyone who has gotten UTOC errors with a 702MK please raise their
hand?
Sounds like your recorder is set to MONO mode which would account for the
doubling of recording time.
Switch it off, and you will get your allocated 74 minutes of stereo
recording time.
Or, if it isn't that, you've got hold of some amazing MDs - can we all have
a few?

Hi Tracy
I have a 702 and have never had any problems with it. At the price
difference I would say go for that, an excellent unit, good battery life,
good recording.
But, in the end it will be down to your own personal preference of styling,
looks and money!
