Hi las,
Does anyone have any experience with these types of MD's? I'm sure I
remember seeing somewhere that Memorex weren't that great, but it might
have
been Maxell ones (plastic shutters). I haven't seen anything about Verbs
though, whats the verdict?
I have never seen Verbatim

I wonder if that's true. One thing's for sure -- if they are both

I'm sure that the ones that say, made in France are made by MPO. I used to

I've used various Sony, TDK and Maxell
Memorex. Now I am trying out the STI Certified discs that Circuit City sells
in packs of 25 for $30. So, I guess, if you don't care how discs/their
packaging look, I would buy the cheapest ones.

Hi all,
My brother just got back from Uni - he's studying Music. He tells me
they refer to "Memorex" up there as "memor-yikes!"... it gave me a laugh so

If there's a Circuit City near you you can get them for even cheaper
than that. They started stocking the new Memorex Color discs at
$29.99 for a 20-pack ($1.50 per disc). They're a lot different from
the old grey/black ones. They come in 5 different colors and they
feel a bit more sturdy
Hi folks,
I'm new to the list and am enjoying much of the conversations/queries. I have
a Sharp 702. But my question is: I am able to get the MEMOREX brand MD for
roughly $2.00/each at Best Buy (the cheapest I've seen for blanks). However,
with the low cost, does that mean low quality in

I got a few in a trade and the second time I played one of them, it skipped.
It *could* be dirt or just a fluke so I won't take that as an indicator. I
have heard more bad things about Memorex

Dear all,
I am sorry to inform you that due to a very strong competition against
Taiwanese manufacturers, European made discs Hi-SPACE/MPO do not manufacture
anymore Memoresx MDs for months now.
So this problem with these discs is not due to one of ours.
Best regards.
