Maybe this was already mentioned... but... my random guess as to why
you're having so many problems with an otherwise simple car: The glow plug
relay is stuck on when driving.

They _drink_ tea. A lot. I'd distrust the purely-for-export
products a lot more.

Sachs were OEM for same cars I think
But I'd go for Bilsteins. I bought a set of Sachs for a 300SD once upon a
time and had one fail completely after an year or two. Bounce bounce
bounce bounce bounce bounce... After that, I only go with Bilstein.

Step _on_ the log. That keeps your feet further away from the
under-the-log snake habitat.
Exactly the opposite of wet woods lore. (Where falling through
rotten timber is a risk.)

His W115 is in my garage right now. It started with a coolant leak, now
I'm going to service the trans and rebuild the injectors too.
Radiator was resealed and cleaned up for $95 by a local radiator shop in
less than 24 hours. Finding service like that really makes me happy.

My '87 300D may be on the market soon, but I'm not sure it would qualify as

older cars, especially M116/7 V8s.
Now I just use this in 15w40 in all my old gas cars:

i cited behr fan clutches for this earlier. you can have a behr fan clutch
for a car that is honestly OEM but can also buy some alibaba chinese behr

That chink dogfood killed my dog some years ago. I don't buy much
(people) stuff in a can or that is processed, and look carefully to see
where it might be from.
Most apple juice and honey is from China now, and pickles from India. I
mostly get local stuff now and some stuff that says where
the chinese are famous for cheating every spec. it hasn't stopped them
from ruling hte world, so it's probably a good plan
so if the spec calls for a dog food to be 20% protein, they'll use 10%
protein and spike it with coal dust as that will make it read over 20%.
