Worked on it some more today, got the left side about half apart. Waiting for the press tool to pop the ball joints apart rather than brute forcing it. The inboard end piece that is stuck on the left side is not budging. I tried prying on it but it’s very difficult as there is no way you can

Conductor plate out. PO says he replaced it, or I recall him saying they but it’s been a few years. Silicone applied to the plug connector. The filter is made in China. Conductor place is a genuine MB part. Date code on it is 2014. If he really did replace it I can’t imagine he would pay $350
