So more info on these. The 73 apparently was originally tan when the PO
bought it back in the early 90s. He had it stripped to the bare metal
and repainted with 7 coats signal red, and 5 coats clear. Supposedly
about as close to a perfect job as you can get. Does a color change hurt

I'd go for completely replacing it. Even if the housing isn't cracked or
leaking, you have the little gears that tend to strip out and then the hot
water valve gets stuck at whataver it was when that happened.

Thanks for the info. I probably won’t buy either car as I already have too many
projects but the 73 was offered to me by a friend who has owned it for the last
30 years. I then noticed that 380 close to me on eBay. I would still like to
find a reasonably priced 108 that is half way decent.

For proper diagnosis and tuning of D jet you need these items: the factory
manual, a good multi meter, time, money. You really need to take your time
to diagnose every circuit to ensure its within spec, there are no wiring
issues, connector issues (common), etc. And of course, to understand how

Transmission shifts again. All seems to be normal. Indications are
it was a collapsed filter. The guy charged $80 to change fluid and
filter, and he provided the fluid. I provided the filter. (Thanks

What about 110? 110 and 111 are the same, but 13" All larger
wheels will work on the 110/111, but the 13" wheels will only fit on
the 110/111, because the brake calipers are more compact. 109 and
112 wheels will interchange on other models, but I believe some were

The 560s came out with 15 hole alloy wheels (15") if they are the
same as the 126, I wish I still had my spare set from the SDL snow
tires. H. Makes me wonder if the 126 wheels will fit on a 107.
If I found 15" bundts, they would look original. I'd rather have 8
holers to take care of, b
So - yes. You can get the pancake wheels from a 126 and look like a 560SL.

Need to get tires for the SL. It has 205/70-14 bundts on it.
Everything else I have runs 15" wheels. TO standardize, I am
pondering what other wheels will fit. Specifically, does anyone know
if wheels off of a 123, 124 or 126 will fit?

I have a headlight switch that fits 107, 108, 110, 111,112, 113, 114,
115, 116, 123 and 126 v1 and possibly 126 v2.
If anyone wants it make me an offer. New ones are over $100. If no
