slider-knob on the controller returns to start and the player's file

I have a jpg image much too large to display on a card, but I don't want
to use lockLoc. Can scrollbars (horizontal and vertical) be added to
images? Or are there perhaps other better solutions than scrollbars
(like click-move)?

I answered my own question (about why playStopped wasn't working) by
re-consulting MC's reference on playStopped: "the playStopped message is
sent to the current _card_".
My script, now appropriately housed, is working perfectly.

Is there a way of "copyrighting" a standalone?
I was thinking of inserting an "if the short date is x then quit" line
so that, after a trial period, the stack/standalone would no longer
start up. Are there other/better/politer ways of controlling access?
