I agree with Ken, nicely said. My own story: I was offered a free copy of MetaCard around 1998 after my game (apparently) impressed the MetaCard folks enough that they (Andre and Scott, I believe) offered me the dev environment for free in exchange for me porting my game to the platform.

Updating Dock contents

OS X is great - the Dock is pretty useful. How could we do something to keep window contents (or app icons) updated in the dock? I'd like to make a simple timer application and have the window be updated with the current time. Any way to force a docked window to keep its icon always updated

AppleScript not working

be causing this problem? (When I removed this loadFonts handler from the preOpenStack, the error points to the call of the nextHandler on the list, a loadHelp handler. I'm sure it has something do with calling handlers in preOpenStack, but the problem didn't pop up until recently.
