Windoze reports 128MB at the same overclock, so I wonder if Linux is
relying on the bus speed? Currently it's 82MHz, instead of the standard
66MHz.

May I suggest inserting your CD-ROM drive (with the Mandrake CD loaded).
Fire up your PC and go into the BIOS and make the system boot of the CD-ROM

Just wondering, how many times are you going to hash this out on the list? I
think it's pretty well understood now. All that needs to be done is that

Sounds like an "encrypted password" problem. I bet when you click on the
sahre in Network Neighborhood it asks for a password for the a share with
"$" in it. If so, you must enable password encryption in your Samba setup.

yes it is, BUT 2 is an even digit and I think the point was that 11-19-1999
will be the last calander date with all odd digits.
