linux and don't exactly know how to get linux to initialize and recognize

modem. I got the sound card figured out but can't find anywhere to

I have installed the mandraque 5.3, I use KDM to log in.
I use the french environnement with CF (normal qwerty) keyboard.
But, in KDM, the keyboard is always a FR (azerty french keyboar)
I think, I read all the doc to fin info about KDM...

If your modem is a winmodem it won't work. Is your modem on COM1, 2 or 3
