Jim, you'll be needing Samba. Check out their web site at http://www.samba.org. You can install it via an RPM, or tar file. Using an RPM *should* set everything up for you. I *think* it will also put the two daemons in your inetd.conf but am not sure. You can then use "smbclient" to connect

Well here is how I fixed my problem. After I un-gunzipped the file, it became unknown to what the type of file was. So, in the properties window, i slapped a .tar extention on the file, and un tar`ed it from the terminal window. worked like a charm! hurray :) jerrud

Richard, Try doing a ctrl-alt-backspace when you get into X. This will bring you back into a console, because it cancles the X gui. Now, make sure you are in root, because XF86Setup wont work if you are not. Just type XF86Setup, and watch the caps, caps in linux are diffrent characters than
