Make sure your ethernet card is in full duplex mode. They are shipped in half
duplex.
Also, if you are using dhcp and @home you must still put your host name in.

I hear that a lot, that its supposed to auto-detect for SMP - but in my
case, it never hashuh. Dunno if its my hardware, other operating
systems such as BeOS and Winblows NT detect both CPUs without a hitch. Ah
wellh.

I´m trying to configure X with frame buffer for my Trio3D card in my IBM
300PL with Mandrake 7 (Air).
I´ve installed the fb ready kernel and it works great at 1024x768x16, but
when I "startx" it fails to start.
