It appears
I have both mandrake 9 and RH 8 installed. I wanted to use redhat icons in
mandrake. I tried symlinking /usr/share/icons/* in RH to that in mdk. All
icons are displayed in kde control center/look and feel/icons selection of
mandrake but for bluecurve. Any known reasons?

Some times /etc/resolve.conf becomes empty. After log rotate, I saw this file
becoming empty today. I am running Mandrake 9. Any solutions for keeping this
file in tact?

I have installed Mandrake linux 9 in kobian micro ATX MB with 845gl chipset.
Though during installation it has indicated 1024x768 with 24 bit as
selection, during normal operation I don't get beyond 640x480. Any idea to
increase resolution?

How to change menu and tool bar fonts and sizes? I am working in KDE 3 of
mdk9. Menu letters are big in galeon. Further how to change language for
galeon menu?

I have HP 9100c drive. It is recognised and I can use xcdroast. But in k3b,
during setup, the device is recognised only as write device. But as user when
I start k3b, I get only read device not write device. Any tweak is required?

This may be an oversight by mandrake in setting dependencies like drakefont
working dependencies. Attributing motives by a few to mandrake guys is not in
good taste. I think it may not be fact.

English USA. Still It checks the following sentence and says spell check
complete without pointing out errors.

You should have necessary fonts and devanagari keyboard driver configured for
switching with particular set of keys like both shift keys etc. Then it is
possible. given below is english and tamil letters for as. you will be able
to see tamil letters if you have that fonts.
