version of postgresql (using binaries/tar) instead of using a

one of my scripts logs into a cvs site and i want to send a carriage return
as the next command so that i can (automatically) log in anonymously
(return = anonymous login). the script pauses when the cvs site asks for
the password though, and i have to hit return manually. after that
try uninstalling kaffe through mandrake control center.
then edit your .bashrc and add the full path to your jdk1.4.0 bin dir to
the PATH env, save .bashrc, and then type source .bashrc command at the prompt.

i currently have mandrake8.1 running on a very old system (emachines cyrix
mII 366 processor) and was wondering if my existing mandrake installation
will work as is if i upgrade the cpu to say a athlon1600+ (and appropriate
