I am using an older gforce2 card and have only installed the nvidia
driver for it.. I have not found the need to install the rest of the

Sounds like the rpm you are trying to install is
made for version 4 of the rpm program.I do not think it will work but someone

I downloaded and installed Chris's KDE2 from the site that has been
showing up in this list lately.I did a --test first and all passed.I

about this.Both programs are in the folder RPMS on your Mandrake cd.Use the
package manager to install untill you get more comy with the tar gz
format.All the files you need are on the cd.Also check out www.rpmfind.net
