Why does \type{...} introduce spaces when used inside natural tables?

What format would you suggest for the database?
Can ConTeXt MkIV already handle something „better“ than .bib?

My concern is that every bibtex entry type must be modified. Unless
I'm mistaken, every bibtex entry has a title, so (in theory) that

system error: invalid parent type for parametercommand, type
defined too (best check it)
The output module documentation is, however, produced correctly. I assume
