There ias apparently a bug with the current orkut parser in IE9.
The following code:

where sound is audio html tag.
Gives error in IE (TypeError: play() is not supported).
Works fine
the error I reported then dissapeared a couple of days after I posted.
I checked main orkut and sandbox now in IE9 and it looks working ok.

A couple of additional
Didn't know about the public info url (PublicAppInfo).
Just tested and it correctly redirects to canvas if the user has the
app installed.
I'm a bit confused though since when the app is not installed
and I go to PublicAppInfo I'm redirected to AppInfo.
Is it safe to link to PublicAppInfo? I
Just tested this and I have the app installed but I'm not redirected
from info to canvas.
I'm staying on info.
info page looks like so:
http://www.orkut.com/Main#AppInfo?appId=[APP_ID_HERE]
am I missing something?

What's happening? There was a similar problem on sandbox - was it
pushed recently to production?
