I had the same problem with a custom version of OTRS 1.2 with CVS
backport (to have LDAP feature) and if my memory still good, I have
added this to my Kernel/Config.pm:

I am using 1.3.1.. There was a mistake in the config file and now it looks
like below..

And it has uid, i couldn't understand why I am getting that message..
Any chance that you are using Active Directory? If so, Active
Directory does not contain a field uid.
