Could you please try using the code below and remove any section regarding

define your ad hostname like contoso.com (yourcompanyname.suffix)
create a user under users like otrsadmin (yourotrsadminaccount)
It should fix your issues.

I have installed OTRS 2.1.7, I've been tweaking parameters to authenticate
against LDAP. I authenticate against LDAP as a customer then I get the
error in the subject.
How can I make debug more verbose?

account in their profile in AD, old transfers from an NT upgrade. Things
