I can understand. Being on a high speed line you sometimes forget that
having to wait for a download 'refines' your taste for preso's. If I had to
wait I'm not sure I would have thought it as cool - though I still think it
would be neat to have something like that on a PUG.

I just found specifications of this Chinon camera on
site www.aaacamera.com/chinon_cp9af.html. Obviously it
is compatible with Pentax auto focus. Because old
Chinon cameras and lenses were built very good I just
want to know if anyone know what AF lenses from Chinon
are produced.
Best wishes

OK, I will give this a shot. Where I'm not correct someone will step in for sure :-)
Most Takumars you will see are the screw-mount lenses.
The older ones are

I disagree with this, in general. I'd suggest
It's the only zoom I own. My wife uses it mainly, but I occasionally take it
out for just that purpose and find it to be quite good.

So, I like primes, and have been doing most of my shooting with them.
Yesterday, I saw an A 35-70 f3.5-4.5 in a photo fair. I like how
compact it is, not much bigger than a prime, and smaller, for example,
than my M135 3.5 (according to Boz's site, it is the smallest Pentax
zoom!). The 49mm filte

I've tested it, it works, I cannot say that I like it.
I found out about it from www.Winfiles.com and

Funny how just last night, I was wondering whether the Jupiter 9 (85mm
f/2) was made on K mount, so did a search on "jupiter pentax" on
Google. I got lots of results related to Pentax binoculars.
Next thing you know, Pentax will claim they own "Lomo" and "Zor
Hi Jan
Thanks very much for your help here. A couple more questions and notes.

I don't understand this part. Can you elaborate further?

Should have run a spell check.

What a great list! Many thanks to William, Joe,
Aaron, Mark, Steve, Cy, Dan, Cotty, Collin, and
Antti-Pekka for their advice. (Apologies if I've
missed anyone.)
Nice to have a sense of where I ought to spend
money--RAM, monitor--and where I needn't--pure
procession speed.

Hi
In my lab they tell me that the results depend very much on the film
material used. But I guess that's too late now. Don't compromise like that.
Some new custumer might see them. Make the print the old fashioned way. You
woun't regret, eventhough your profit might be small!

Hi
Think I have been writing about Metz flashes more than once. I don't think
other brands are lousy at all! I just find Metz flashes to be very, very
good. My oldest, which I bought in 1981, still works like the first day. The
original Pentax flashes is extreemly well made too. It's a joy just to
