Well, here's my delima. A few months ago I purchased a Nikon N80, with the new 24-85 G lens and the new SB80 flash. Since then, I have also acquired a 70-210 4.5/5.6D lens. Nothing great, but the 24-85 is a nice lens. Main use is for the autofocus and flash abilities for my kids' sports,

It's going to hurt which ever way you go, because of the focal length multiplication factor with either DSLR. Shoot film for one last summer. If you add a 50/1.8 to your Nikon kit that's all you would need for Orlando (leave the SB-80 home). Take the Pentax to Hawaii. Figure digital out in the

Bruce, That is pretty good advice. Actually, the Hawaii trip is more of a MF trip, i.e. no kids. Disneyworld would be the AF trip. I think in the end, for my shooting, the focal length will be just fine (starting out at 36mm) for a digital SLR. I'm just so tired of the time delay, wasted
