I Have a MZ-60 given to me And have discovered that only F and FA (FAJ?) lenses will
work.
The 2 soft focus lenses that Don't have an A setting on the aperture ring won't work
either.
I only have A lenses and none of them work with the camera at all.

Can you set the flash to the A position with the mode button?
If you can, there is no need to try and cover up any pins.
Just make sure the Iso matches what the camera is set to.
Maybe the apateur as will if camera is in AV mode.

Collin, here is a test shot I made with a Tamron SP 500mm mirror lens
on my D. The sign is about 100 yards away. Note the peculiar bokeh.

Not bad at all; I paid $500 for mine new last year. Some guys have all
the luck!
I'll second that, Fred. I bought the Pentax-A 35-70 f4 for use on my
LX, and it is a really nice piece of workmanship, although a bit heavy
(balances fine though). Takes sharp photos and the macro is pretty
good too - I think it goes down almost to 2:1.

Hi Mark,
I think you will enjoy the SF-1. I bought one and a ZX-7 early last year,
and really like them. The ZX-7 is probably my favourite, although I used
both with great results on the 'Tuilumne' after the Tall Ships 2002 in
August.
