Didn't really notice the egrets before but I see that one appears in
most shots. We get Cattle Egrets around here, mostly at the rubbish
dump. They run in phalanxes behind the bulldozers looking for grubs.
I'll take a camera next time I go to the dump.

Thanks Igor. I’m fairly certain that it’s the northwest end of the Malibu
Beach. A lot of rock formations there, and I was probably working in Encino,
and that’s why the Kodachrome box is labeled Encino. Malibu, of course, is
directly west of Encino, although there are some minor mountains in

Another one taken on one of Toronto's Island Ferries, in this case the
ferry to Hanlan's Point. Most people on the way to the Islands are in
a good mood, as they're likely on their way to a day at one of the
beaches, a picnic, a nice restaurant meal, to the kiddy amusment park.
