Darren,
How's the P0 head working out for you? Did you get one of the standard
Arca-Swiss compatible clamps for it yet?

Love the Arca-Swiss monoball. Yes, I got Sunwayfoto DLC-60 clamp and
it is really nice. The only fly in the ointment is that I really
should have gotten the DLC-60L which has a long extension on the knob:

Thanks, it sounds good.
This head would be a good fit on my Feisol legs due to the way they fold for
packing, that's why I'm interested. But it has to be compatible with my
existing plates.

Thanks for sharing that, it's helpful.

Some of the plates have 1/4-20 holes in the bottom. These are very handy.

It's an interesting design. I'd have to work with it a bit to see if it
actually worked as well as the description suggests. The compactness is
definitely a merit. However, for me, it MUST be fully compatible with standard
A-S type plates so I'd need to add a compatible clamp, which ruins the

Arca-Swiss also makes a p1.

I use the 394 system at work.
Camera is attached firmly and there is space on the right side to remove
the battery for recharging.
Removing the camera is convenient.

The ability to level the head for panorama work independent of the tripod looks
great. However, the thin ring control for ball tension seems a little fiddly.
It just looks kinda awkward in the video, but might work beautifully in use.

I'd like to piggy-back on this thread with two questions:

So, what makes them different (and good)?

I'm a fan of Kirk Enterprises' take on the Arca Swiss system, and like the
screw clamp. I have this set up on all my tripods and would be lost without it.
