No, mine has the muffler ball. Funny thing is that it is black, not green. The
earliest ones were green, like the one on my A-250. This has the early mute
control bar, not the later slide.

I have a BE, which is slightly shorter because it does not have the 6 mandrel
and has a three spring motor rather than four, but I assume the crank is the
same. The shaft on it is 7/16 in diameter, the length from inside the shoulder
to the end is 2-1/4 inches.

steel rule and a sharp knife so it doesn't have all the cow curves that the
belting leather that most people sell has. Most commercially available belting
leather is crap, you get maybe 2 belts out of two yards.

Have you removed the mandrel and shaft yet? That is pretty much mandatory.. The
way I did it (and there may be better ways, this is the way I learned to do it)
is to grasp the mandrel with rubber gloved hands and twist it back and forth
until it comes off the shaft. This can take some

Ya know, I've done a good bit of assuming myself. He doesn't say anywhere that
this was done at the factory. He just says its decorated and rare. Someone

A friend has come up with a New York made tabletop model Pathephone 25 cabinet,
tonearm and reproducer. No motor, turntable or crank., If anyone can lead me to

Very interesting idea! It's sort of like that miniature Orthophonic horn that
Bob Baumbach created for the MP3 player. The player fits into a socket and the
music is acoustically amplified through the horn. It is a cool device too!
