I've just setup squeezetoupnp for my Bel Canto Refstream to use with
Roon.
OS is Debian and platform is x86_64.
Solution is running is quite well but this is not perfect as I am
randomly having stop of the playback with following exception :

I didn't try the pacing_size trick, I'm sorry. You mentioned that the
other http modes are preferred and since I bought the player to be used
as a DLNA player, I decided to send it back. It looked to me like it
would have been a work-around in some way anyway.

After a little more tests some observations concerning sq2u 0.2.10.0 and
Roon streaming to Foobar2000 (WIN10)
1) I've successfuly played audio files from Roon: AAC, MP3, MP4, FLAC,
TIDAL and Internet Radio (all 16b) OK
2) Latency is very good ! OK
3) Unable to play: 24b / 192khZ F

the Perl plugin part to run. Basically, it looks like a squeezelite on

But, what i understand from sq2u user guide, is that squeeze2upnp is
able to run as standlone (launched via the command line and configured
via xml config file).
So my question about any feedback from users running Roon with
standalone squeeze2upnp.

Thanks for the report - good to know that the Jongo works with the upnp
plugin, I might get one then. Sync is not an issue for me, as it is
supposed to be used as a bathroom speaker.
What about a second hand duet - if you add a small step-up power
converter, you can use the USB 5V in the
shug72, the analogue audio outputs on the Pi don't sound that good,
they're not meant to be hifi quality. You could add something like the
HifiBerry DAC which is a board that plugs onto the Pi IO connector and
provides a high quality DAC, though exactly how good it is I don't know.

Hi I could not get the Jongo to work with LMS on my Synology NAS,
however I did manage to get it running on the Macbook with LMS installed
and it works great, its not what I need though as Phillippe advised

mmm I just installed on my macbook and it found the jongo, sorry I cant

Perhaps it is due to the synology and the binaries of the plugins.
Have you tried the plugins on a Windows machine.
