Thanks Jeff. I'll check into it. For now I was able to solve the problem,
with help from another user, by putting the ip addr of the new qmail server
in the /var/qmail/control/smtproutes file. Now the old machine just dumps
all mail to the new machine and lets it sort it out. Works great!

qmail-scanner say they support it. It is a RedHat 7.1 box, brand new
setup, and updated.

I've tried this several different times on my RH machine but it never
worked. Checked paths, perms, etc. No luck. Well, I just got it
working!! I had to remove the \@ from the \@*.s line and it works like a
charm. I'm guessing it's a shell thing?

hi there i setup qmail according to the directions on life with qmail and i
seem to be having an odd difficulty my qmail -send and qmail-smtpd seem to
be logging to stdout yet my qmailpop is logging to a file. the log files are
both supposed to be outputting to a log file and i am using multilog a
www.squirrelmail.org is about the best I've found and it's free.

rotates the log file, it just sits there at zero bytes. The doc says to
manully run the tai64nlocal command to create the first isoqlog file,
which works fine. Then I manully run the cron jobs and the web pages get
created beautifully.

I'm trying to setup qmail to have 2 sepearate domains and 2 seperate
usernames. for example
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] are 2 seperate boxes,
but want to be able to host them on the same machine, but keep each billybob

actually four seperate registerd ISP email accounts it's slighty more
complicated but since your using network clients the idea is the same. The
only problem we had was that qmail doesn't use hosts so I had to install
BIND.
