It really does suck to have a syrinx. Its the biggest no win situation Ive ever been in besides spinal injury itself. I ask myself why suffer everyday if I can get it drained or shunted? well they didn't recommend anyone here in st. louis. they said i was a candidate for surgery.im not losing functions yet but pain is worse and energy is about half what it was b4 syrinx. you are very lucky to have craig, i would kill to get there, lol
