they added the -X option to disable the tcp logging. If you do not have
-X (so logging is on) but you do not have anything receiving the log on
the LMS server, does this typically cause problems? I do have ncat
running on the LMS server, but I was just curious about this.

wlanpoke is still running because I can still
see resets happening in the ncat tcp logs. I can SSH in to the radio
and restart the web server and it will start working again.

manual method where you manually copy the .bin file in the /dev
directory and make a link then reboot, and it was nothing like the
"automatic" procedure logitech claims will work. Yes, I am confused.

I ordered one from Amazon yesterday and reverting to Squeezebox option
is there, but it won't work. Have they disabled this for some reason?
It just says that it failed to register the radio for migration.

the device (not talking about the web interface)...so it is
not a quick thing for me to do. Until the people in control decide to
put this feature in (one of the oldest and most requested fixes in
bugzilla) then I will have to just put up with the incorrect clock.

I believe the only other thing you will need is some wire and a
soldering iron.
So are people starting to use cell taps 3/6 instead of 3/7 since the
cell voltages of the Logitech battery packs have been reported as
14V/4V/8V? How has that worked out?

hooking back up to the network if it
ever loses the connection...even for a minute. The only way to
reconnect is to cycle the Radio power or search for a new connection and
select the SSID of the network again. This is an obvious bug.
