as unstable as an MFI wardrobe!
The access point I used was a surplus hub, I was about to splash out on
£150 router but read if people who had done the same but only for radio
to drop again.

Great, but confused. Installed the app which I think is named BBC
iPlayer by Triode?
It now appears in internet radio but not in my apps, though the BBC app
from mysb.com appears in my apps?!?

My 10 year old daughter loves using the squeeze system, she mostly picks
what to listen to via the web interface on one of our PCs and knows to
choose the player closest to where she is listening of our 5 players.
Works for us.

my main system for 12 months or so before I experienced problems.
Warranty is 2 years so will keep an eye on it, I still think it's a
software issue as you say it's not just HH3 it fails with.

It makes me wonder if the problem could be buried deep in LMS somewhere
especially as for me this issue is only a recent one, my last LMS update

and connected the radio and only the radio to that.
It worked fine and alarm was good this morning, will see how we go

Also, no other wifi devices fail like the radio does. Interesting
reading how many people have very similar issues to me where their
other players are robust but the radio drops often and refuses to
re-connect without a reboot of router and player.

router, I had a netgear for a couple of years and it was excellent, but
last January I too went with BT infinity hence the hub.

time took 192.168.1.69 and appears on router
devices
2nd boom takes 192.168.1.70
iphone takes 192.168.1.86-regardless of anything else I do. All now
connected, showing in hub devices and streaming. Will see how long

Interesting, any more news on this issue as since I bought my touch I
have had the radio dropping the signal and showing the red wifi icon.
I have HH3 and the only way back on for the radio is a reset.
SB3, Touch and two booms remain connected throughout!!

Interesting, thanks! The national BBC stations are great through either
WMA or AAC but the local BBC stations are still hit and miss and I
can't seem to listen at all through WMA.

the radio alarm. I am disappointed that this has not been sorted out and
indeed that the radio is still been sold when it is known to not be
fully functional...come on logitech it's all gone suspiciously quiet!!

Tue-no alarm not even back up
So for me if there is no signal I get no alarm, it seems that the radio
has to 'refresh' each day with the server to realise an alarm has been
set which happens normally by chance as I work on the PC most evenings.

piece of crap, alarm sometimes works
sometimes doesn't whether via SBS or not.
But now no radio stream will play as it comes up with the blurb
'connection reset by local host etc'
Yet boom in same room plays the same stream faultlessly in an
instant!!
Time for a refund
Radio did a software update when I connected, will check for firmware
version tonight also...Boom to big to fit on bedside table!!
