This looks like something we had really BAD problems with for weeks.
Firstly, even though ip_forwading is turned on in the kernel, (make sure by typing:
cat /proc/kmsys | grep ip_forward
it needs to be activated within the /etc/sysconfig/network file
We couldnt ever get this thing
I use to mount a novell server in rc.local
But when I try to ncpumount it by ncpumount (in /etc/rc.d/init.d/halt) I get
the error "you are not allowed to ncpumount" or something. Simply umount
returns error codes.
It is not big trouble since the novell server clears the connection shortly

If you are using Book Mangler to manage the boot process, there should be
no problems. If it starts in Win95 all the time, run fdisk and set the
Boot Manager partition active.
