A strange problem is annoying me. When I log in on my linux box whit the
user FTP I can't see anything in the homedir of this user. Where should I
look?

I'm not sure what the Lexmark enhanced drivers do exactly, but I have
an Optra Ep and it works just fine as a generic PostScript printer.
If you don't have PostScript on the E+, then it should work as an HP
LaserJet 4. Choose the appropriate filter in the printtool and
you should be good to go.

Try to look at Openssl's documentation. It should be pretty easy to get

heh.. sorta sucks considering it would only need ncurses for a
setup/diagnostic proggy.. not the driver itself. I don't suppose they
wrote that under GPL.. if you can.. try to get the source and compile the
package yourself.

This is a great mailing list but sometimes I would like to check out some
specific subjects or areas relating to redhat linux to keep up on what is
happening. The newsgroups apparently cover quite a wide area of information
and topics. However, when ever I try to access the news.redhat.com server
I thought Id share with the list how I solved the problem. It turns
out I had a duplicate keyed entry (i.e. 2 entries with the same login
name). I found this out by running pwck, a utility mentioned in the
pwconf man pages. So this is another cautionary tale about RTFM.

OpenSSL/0.9.5a mod_perl/1.24 dies during weekly log recycling.
It was working well for a few weeks and without any changes from my side
(that I can recall) it does not
In such cases I usually use gdb to get a better understanding where the
problem lies - in which function it hangs or if the program is running in
an endless loop.
It might not help a lot in your case but it's worth a try.
gdb /usr/sbin/pwconv
ctr-C
Then type in 'where' to see the function tree

running Redhat 6.2, kernel version 2.2.18 (i686 unknown).
So far this thing has been running for over 14 hours. The machine is
not yet production, so it has most of the CPU (usually 98%+). What is

No no error message and all sorts of harddrive space. I am dual booted
to win98 and rh7.0 and had reformatted the harddrive, I think a 15 gig
one, i2 for each and subdivided the win98 to a c and a D drive so I could
back up the win98 on c to d. Seems to work fairlywell for my purpos

out more about the internal implementation of the VPN if necessary, but
I was hoping I would not have to. This VPN is NOT set up as some I've
seen are, to allow browsing of the internal LAN using Windows Explorer.
