biggest problem with gnumeric is that it can only save in excel 95
format - as far as i can tell it can not save in excel 2000 format. this
is a problem in many business environments.
does anyone know if there is a plan to integrate excel 2k formatting.

using 6.1 i have an NT share mounted (over our companies LAN) with
smbmoutn. however, after a certain time (not sure what the exact time is)
i end up with an input/output error when try to do anything in the
directory the share is mounted into.
what would cause this time out?

the reason i ask is that i've done many successful Red Hat+Win9x dual
boots where Linux resides well beyond the 528M "mark" (unless i'm
misunderstanding this information). if i'm clueless on this 'mark' could

well,
after it was setup i ran a test (as i always did) and recieved no output!
has anyone else expienced this little problem? is there a known fix for
this?

have you tried to bring up any of those modems with netcfg?

lling but a fresh install did the same thing. then i
