I am dealing with a similar problem with a Mastr II and a NHRC controller.
The audio sometimes fades out dropping to a very low level, and changes
while you are listening to it on a repeater user, although it comes back
all by itself. It seems to be an analog problem as opposed to just cutting
Try giving the deviation control a spritz of cleaner and then run it back

If I remember right, MOST low band micors are PM. However, you could ge the
later ones with DPL and those models had a different exciter that was true FM
with a different channel element than the PM models.

Hi Kevin,
I could be wrong, but I believe all low band Micor exciters (including Stations) are PM. This is likely the case because it is difficult to modulate the crystal frequency via direct FM, retain good linearity, and achieve 5 kc's of final deviation due to the multiplication factor.

Oh, don't do this - the coors brewery will have to work overtime during
the summer months when families want to vacation with the kids out of
school. I think someones eyes have swelled shut already, is the micor a
pm or fm on both ends?
